3D Printing Porcelain

I am currently exploring the idea of using 3D print ceramic of my digital forms in ceramic through the use of an SLA printer and Porcelite, a porcelain material suspended in a resin-based substance. The Resin sets and printed by the use of light and builds the form while the porcelain is held in place and when fired the resin then burns away as the porcelain is left to vitrify into the final shape. This process is very new and would need a great deal of testing but would be a great thing to trial for the future.

The images below show what can be achieved using this technology and the level of high finish to complex ceramic forms.
