Lionel T dean

Dean designed the pieces as part of a project called Precious, a collaboration between five companies including software provider Delcam and precious metal supplier Cooksongold, which is aiming to modernise the UK jewellery industry.

These jewellery design use the process of 3D printing and the use of 3D Computer modelling to produce forms and shapes that are too technical or details to produce by hand. I feel the interest in his designs for me is, he again plays with the overall shape and form made up of layering and pieces that make up the integral structure. I also am interested in the process and his way of making in relation to his concepts and ideas.
